Required Qualifications
1. Educational background. Applicants in each track must hold one of the following qualifications.
(Track A1) Thesis only. Applicants must hold one of the two following qualifications
a. A bachelor’s degree in psychology with a GPAX of at least 2.50
b. Currently studying in the last semester of a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a GPAX of at least 2.50.
(Track A2) Coursework + Thesis. Applicants must hold one of the two following qualifications
a. A bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a GPAX of at least 2.50 or
b. currently studying in the last semester of a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a GPAX of at least 2.50.
2. English proficiency. Applicants must either
a. Submit an English proficiency test result with a score equivalent to or above one of the following criteria:

- CU-TEP 67 or
-
- TOEFL iBT 67 or
-
- TOEFL ITP/PBT 525 or
-
- IELTS 5.5
or
b. Graduated from an international or English program in which English is used as the language of instruction and assessment.
3. A thesis proposal in the field of Social Psychology. The proposal must be written in English with a maximum of 3,000 words, outlining goals, relevant literature, hypothesis, and potential study methods. See template here.
4. A statement of purpose. The statement of purpose must be written in English and is at most 1,000 words, illustrating the applicants’ motivation for studying in the program and their career plan after graduation.
5. Other qualifications according to the annual announcement of the Graduate School, Chulalongkorn University.
6. Any exemption from the required qualifications above must be approved by the M.S./Ph.D. in Psychological Science Program committee.
7. Application Review. The following criteria will be used to evaluate each application:
a. Educational background and experiences
b. English proficiency
c. Thesis proposal
d. Statement of purpose
A passing application requires a committee evaluation of 75% or higher.
8. Interview. A maximum of 12 candidates who pass the application review process will be chosen for an interview. If there are more than 12 passing applications, only the top 12 ranking applicants will be chosen. All applicants in the tie will be chosen for the interview if the rank is tied.

- Official transcript
- CU-TEP or TOEFL ITP/PBT score report (if applicable)
