Biography
Dr. Somboon Jarukasemthawee is a lecturer in Clinical/Counseling Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology, Chulalongkorn University, with a research interest in how Eastern philosophies could be integrated into mindfulness psychotherapies, cognitive behavioral therapy for Thais, psychological distress (depression, anxiety, and stress) and positive psychological functions (well-being, acceptance, compassion, and grit). Currently, Dr. Jarukasemthawee teaches courses on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Evidence-Based Psychology Therapies to postgraduate psychology students and Theories of Personality Psychology for undergraduate psychology students. Dr. Jarukasethawee is a Clinical Psychologist licensed in Thailand.
