Biography
Watcharaporn has a bachelor degree in mass communications from Chulalongkorn University, before pursuing her interests in social psychology in her postgraduate study at the same university. Watch has joined the faculty of psychology, Chulalongkorn University in 2000, before continuing her training in social psychology and earned a PhD in social psychology from the University of Utah, USA. Watch has been trained in the area of attitudes and cognitions related to promoting positive health behavior (e.g., encouraging cancer screening and healthy consumption behavior) via examining effects of positive cognitions and emotions. Lately, Watch has expanded her research interests in attitude areas to include examining Thais’ prejudice, and attitudes toward environmental behaviors such as energy saving in workplace and using of reusable water container among college students.
