Admission Requirements to JIPP
Thai Central Admission System (TCAS68)
Please register in the Thai Central Admission System (TCAS) system.

• Applicant qualifications
- Applicant must be at least 16 years of age by May of the year of enrollment at Chulalongkorn University.
- Transcript, Have completed, or be presently enrolled in their final year of secondary school, the equivalent of Mathayom 6 (grade 12 in the US system or year 13 in the British system) OR GED as an equivalent study at high school (M6) will be also taken into consideration
- A Foreign/Uncertified High School Diploma must request for a Certificate of Equivalency (https://hsces.atc.chula.ac.th) For students applying with GED, AP, IB, OR other Qualifications from Abroad,
- Entry Requirement: Applicants can choose to apply through Track A OR Track B
Track A: For applicants with an IB Diploma or AP
- M6 Transcript OR other with Equivalence Certificate
- IB Diploma with a minimum score of 35; OR
- AP with a minimum score of 78;
Applicants who apply with an AP score must submit a SAT score (Math and Evidence-Based Reading and Writing) with a minimum score of 1100
Track B: For applicants must attain the minimum score in English Proficiency Tests and Academic Aptitude tests.

- English Proficiency Tests, An applicant must submit a score from one of the following English tests:
- TOEFL iBT (Internet-Based Test) with a minimum score of 88 (With a minimum score of 19 for Listening, Reading, Speaking and 21 for Writing) Send Score Report via College Board to JIPP Code: 7203; OR
- IELTS with a minimum score of 6.5 (With a minimum score of 6.0 in each sub-band) Please contact the test center to send Score Report (electronic copy) to JIPP; OR
- CU-TEP (Not including speaking) with a minimum score of 104

- Academic Aptitude tests, applicants must submit a score from one of the following tests:
- SAT (Math and Evidence-Based Reading and Writing) with a minimum score of 1100
Send Score Report via College Board to JIPP Code: 7433; OR - CU-AAT (Academic Aptitude Test of Chulalongkorn University)
by achieving the total score from the Verbal Section and Math Section with a minimum score of 1030
- SAT (Math and Evidence-Based Reading and Writing) with a minimum score of 1100
**The scores must come from the test taken on the same date, and they must be the scores from the test taken no more than 2 years prior to the application deadline.

How to apply for JIPP application 2025
Step 1: Fill out Online Application (Now – December 25, 2024)

Preparation documents:

- 1.1) Personal Details: a photo, a copy of your ID card or passport, a copy of your transcript or GED. (If you submit a GED, the certificate of equivalency is needed.
- 1.2) Score submission: The applicant must choose one of the track
- Track A: a copy of IB or AP with SAT scores
- Track B: a copy of TOEFL or IELTS or CUTEP AND a copy of SAT or CUATT
Step 2: Score submission (Now – December 25, 2024)
2.1 Track A ONLY

- Applicants who apply with Track B, with IB or AP scores must submit an official document to JIPP Admission Team.
2.2 Track B ONLY

- 2.1) Applicants who apply with Track B, with one of the English Proficiency scores must follow
- > 88 of TOEFL iBT score (Internet-Based Test), Send Score Report via College Board to JIPP Code: 7203
- > 6.5 IELTS score, Contact the test center to send the Score Report (electronic copy) to the faculty of psychology, Chulalongkorn University (Joint International Psychology program: JIPP)
- > 104 of CU-TEP score, Submit an official document to JIPP Admission Team.
- 2.2) Applicants who apply with Track B, with one of the Attitude Tests must follow
- > 1100 of SAT score, Send Score Report via College Board to JIPP Code: 7433; OR
- > 1030 of CU-AAT score, Submit an official document to JIPP Admission Team.
- 2.1) Applicants who apply with Track B, with one of the English Proficiency scores must follow
Step 3: Pay the application Fee of 1,000 THB (Now – December 25, 2024)
Step 4: Review Document & Email Confirmation (January 8, 2025)
Step 5: Interview Session (January 10 – 14, 2025)
Step 6: Enrollment Confirmation Fee of 56,000 THB (January 22, 2025)
Step 7: TCAS68 Confirmation (February 11, 2025)
Step 8: Final Selected Announcement (February 21, 2025)
Before applying to the JIPP program through the online portal, applicants must prepare the following documents: (1) transcripts or equivalent qualifications, such as M6 transcripts, IB or AP scores, (2) English proficiency test scores, such as CU-TEP, IELTS, or TOEFL, and (3) attitude test scores, such as SAT or CU-AAT scores.
Please note that for IELTS, TOEFT and SAT scores, applicants must request the test center or College Board to send the electronic scores directly to JIPP.
The Cost of the Application
Application Fee, The fee is 1,000 Baht per application.
Selection Criteria for Admission (100%)
Track A: The final score will be determined by the following weights:

- IB Score: 75%
- Onsite Interview: 25%
- For applicants submitting AP and SAT scores, the weights will also be:
- AP Scores and SAT Scores: 75%
- Onsite Interview: 25%
Track B: The final score will be determined by the following weights:

- English Proficiency: IELTS (Academic) or TOEFL (internet-based) or CU-TEP (not including speaking) 25%
- Attitude Test: SAT (Math & Evidence-Based Reading and Writing) or CU-AAT (Math section and Verbal section) 50%
- Onsite Interview: 25%
