2025 Admission Announcement (International Round 1)

You have the opportunity to submit your JIPP application during four rounds for Academic Year 2025. These rounds are as follows:
  • International Round 1:  December 2024, to February 2025
  • International Round 2:  March 2025, to May 2025

International Admission Requirements for the Academic Year 2024

To apply to JIPP, prospective students are required to:

 

International Applicant qualifications

  1. Applicant must be at least 16 years of age by May of the year of enrollment at Chulalongkorn University.
  2. Transcript, Have completed, or be presently enrolled in their final year of secondary school, the equivalent of Grade 12 in the US system OR year 13 in the British system OR GED OR IGCSE as an equivalent study at high school (M6) will be also taken into consideration
  3. A Foreign/Uncertified High School Diploma must request for a Certificate of Equivalency (https://hsces.atc.chula.ac.th) For students applying with GED, AP, IB, OR other Qualifications from Abroad,
  4. Entry Requirement: Applicants can choose to apply through Track A OR Track B 

 

Track A: For applicants with an IB Diploma or AP

  1. Transcript OR other with Equivalence Certificate
  2. IB Diploma with a minimum score of 35; OR
  3. AP with a minimum score of 78;
    Applicants who apply with an AP score must submit a SAT score (Math and Evidence-Based Reading and Writing) with a minimum score of 1100

 

Track B: For applicants must attain the minimum score in English Proficiency Tests and Academic Aptitude tests.

  1. Transcript OR other with Equivalence Certificate
  2. English Proficiency Tests, An applicant must submit a score from one of the following English tests:

    • TOEFL iBT (Internet-Based Test) with a minimum score of 88
      Send Score Report via College Board to JIPP Code: 7203; OR
    • IELTS with a minimum score of  6.5 (With a minimum score of 6.0 in each sub-band)
      Send Score Report via College Board to JIPP; OR
    • CU-TEP (Not including speaking) with a minimum score of 104

  3. Academic Aptitude tests, applicants must submit a score from one of the following tests:
    • SAT (Math and Evidence-Based Reading and Writing) with a minimum score of 1100  
      Send Score Report via College Board to JIPP Code: 7433; OR
    • CU-AAT (Academic Aptitude Test of Chulalongkorn University)
      by achieving the total score from the Verbal Section and Math Section with a minimum score of 1100

 

**The scores must come from the test taken on the same date, and they must be the scores from the test taken no more than 2 years prior to the application deadline.

The Cost of the Application

Application Fee, The fee is 1,000 Baht per application.

Academic Aptitude Test (SAT, CU-AAT) 50%
  • SAT (Math & Evidence-Based Reading and Writing)
  • CU-AAT (Math section and Verbal section)

English Proficiency Test Score (IELTS, TOEFL, CU-TEP)  25%  

  • IELTS (Academic)
  • TOEFL (internet-based)
  • CU-TEP (not including speaking)
