This workshop will provide instruction on (a) the conceptual foundations of meta-analysis and (b) procedures used to calculate the most commonly used effect sizes (d, r), calculate effect size variance, aggregate effect sizes across studies, calculate effect size heterogeneity, conduct moderator analyses, and calculate publication bias.
The workshop will be conducted across 3 sessions with each being approximately 1.5 hours long. Between sessions students will have opportunities to practice meta-analytic procedures using data from published studies.
